Welcome to JSP! I am Jessica Sunshine and I photograph families in Austin, TX. My style as a photographer is to work outside the normal structure of a family portrait and rather focus on play and connection. I like to let your personality and mood lead the charge, creating images that are vibrant, joyful and fun.

I have been behind the lens professionally for seven years. Before that I was working in the movie business. When I decided to start a family I changed gears. I went to graduate school and studied photojournalism at UT Austin. When I look back down this photography road I can hardly believe I’ve been here so long! I look forward to creating modern, vibrant images that will be meaningful to you for a lifetime. Recording your life’s memories is a task I relish & I provide a high level of detail, personal attention and care to every photo session.
